Photography Biennale Prize Portogruaro 2023

The Shapes of Living

The photography competition established as part of the Portogruaro Photography Biennale saw the participation of many established and emerging artists of all ages and from all over the world (including students from high schools, universities and specialization schools). With this initiative undertaken in 2023, we intend to affirm the central role of the Veneto area and in particular of Portogruaro, as a center for observing the world through photography, one of the most practiced artistic languages of the second millennium. Among the eight artists on display, the jury prize and the public prize will be awarded during the exhibition period. The winners will have a personal exhibition dedicated to them in prestigious exhibition spaces in the cities of Venice, Portogruaro and Utrecht thanks to the collaboration with the Dutch FOTODOK Foundation.
